IPB 2013: The Leading Powder & Bulk Platform in China

The great potential market in China
Leading congress along with the exhibition
Powder & Bulk Network adds the attendance value

IPB 2013 in the Shanghai International Exhibition Center, China (INTEX) from 17-17 October, 2013 again offers a comprehensive overview of the latest technologies for processing powder, granules and bulk solids specifically for development, process and works engineers from all sectors of the chemical industry. In 2012, with the upgrade of the show, IPB has officially changed its name from International Powder & Bulk Conference & Exhibition to International Powder & Bulk Solids Processing Conference & Exhibition. The processing part was added as one of the exhibit themes. With ten years development, IPB has already become not only the professional annual gathering platform in China, but also the most internationalized "one-stop-shop" exhibition in the powder and bulk industry in China.

The Reason to Join IPB 2013
IPB is powered by POWTECH, Germany, which is the world's undisputed number one exhibition for powder, granule and bulk solids technologies. According to the data analysis, IPB 2012 attracted more than 30 international exhibitors from POWTECH to enhance the international communications and technology exchanges. And 162 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions participated in the three days show. It also attracted 6,875 trade visitors(2011:6,214)from 18 countries and regions from the relating industries also hit record high. Six months before the event more than 65% standspace have been sold. The leading international companies such as Hosokawa, DMN Westinghouse, Kaeser and Malvern; and Chinese local brands as MIYOU Group, Shandong Huate Magnet Technology, Hanrui Puzer Bulk and Zhejiang Fengli Pulverization have participated in IPB once again. The product range covers from basic mechanical processing technologies, plant engineering and processing components, particle analysis and characterization, nano particle technologies, measurement and control, safety and environmental technologies to service. "It is already apparent that the event will provide an outstanding range of solutions for the handling of powder and bulk solids. Therefore, we believe that IPB 2013 will offer a professional communication platform both for exhibitors and visitors", says Evian Gu, Project Manager at NürnbergMesse China.

New Onsite Congress
With the development of great potential market in powder and bulk industry, the granular processing area also presents a picture of prosperity. Moreover, with the expansion of the processed material, the rapid development of new material determines the broad prospects. But the quality of the grinding machine, operating technique, product classification, and surface modification are also the main factors which affect the product quality. Therefore the industrial competitiveness is determined by the quality of the powder and bulk equipments. The key points of the high-end equipments are purity, ultrafine and large handling capacity. So IPB 2013 will focus on the new theme "processing". The supporting programs will run in parallel with IPB 2013. It will be the first time for the UKChina International Particle Technology Forum to be held onsite along with the exhibition. The UK-China International Particle Technology Forum is an international event which held either in UK or China every two years; it provides opportunities for scientists and engineers to discuss recent advances, to share knowledge and to identify future research directions in the field of particle science & technology and their roles in environment, energy, healthcare and other emerging applications. The attendee including of engineers and professors are also the key buyers of IPB.

Global Network Leads to Success

IPB is part of the Powder & Bulk Network, a worldwide alliance of international trade fairs and conferences for mechanical process and bulk solids handling technologies. This special union of events offers not only a worldwide networking including of Europe, India, and China; but also marketing opportunities for the industry as well as a perfect platform to step into new markets. The network is also concentrated on meeting the local market demands. The exhibitors can make full use of the network to do branding and meet the potential clients. Convened by the network, IPB 2013 is expected to usher 40%-50% overseas visitors. "Whether exhibitors or visitors want to gain insight into the market development, share industrial knowledge and information, or look for potential customers, there is no doubt that their participation will be successful in every respect", assures Gu.
